Thank you for blessing us with the new water heater, a nice new heater, replacing our windows, insulating the attic, new light bulbs, etc.
We are very grateful for you and the help installing these things. May the Lord bless you.
Thank you.

Dear Team of APAC,
I have to call you a team since everyone works so well together to get the job done and do it right. I can’t begin to thank you enough for doing such a wonderful job on my house. As I said before, you are surely not a lazy team; you wouldn’t even take breaks except for your lunch. Everyone was so professional and nice. It was a pleasure to cook for you all since you put out so much effort on doing the job right and cleaning up before you left. Everything being air tight and the new insulation is really helping my electric bill. Again, I am so thankful and appreciative of all the hard work you did for me.
Thank you so much and God bless you for all the help you give, may your reward be 3 times as good.

“We are pleased to see the practical approach that LACAP is taking toward the creation of green jobs and the fact that they are focused on working with existing trade groups and building professionals. We feel that this approach is one that will succeed and that provides long term job creation and support as opposed to short term solutions.”

“I applaud LACAP’s commitment to increasing energy efficiency of homes while improving health, safety, and economic stability! There is a great need, “teachable moment” and an unprecedented chance to raise the bar of green workforce capacity for sustained benefits and market stimulation.”

“Within the State and on behalf of the Louisiana Dept of Housing Finance Administration, LACAP serves as the administering agency for both LIHEAP and WAP. LACAP, in turn, works with local community action agencies to ensure the 'retail' delivery of LIHEAP and WAP services. Historically, the need for assistance has far out-stripped available financial and human resources. Fortunately, with strong commitments from Congress and the President for both programs, the task now turns to training workers to implement a wide-range of weatherization and efficiency improvements.
To meet these challenges, head-on, LACAP, Inc. foresaw the need for thorough training and has launched a state-of-the-art training facility in Baton Rouge. It is also coordinating with other key players (e.g. community colleges, homebuilders’ and environmental and community advocates) across the State.”
Mary F. Herren, Director of Housing Initiatives
Entergy New Orleans, Inc.

“We, of the Louisiana Workforce Commission, would like to take the time to let you know that we are mindful and acutely aware of LACAP’s value throughout the state as it relates to your pioneering efforts in developing a well-trained and robust green jobs training program and workforce. We fully support any initiatives that result in clearing any training and/or educational obstacles which may impede a citizen from attaining the goal of self-sufficiency. On the state level, we are diligently and continually working in concert with various entities who seek to develop sustainable green job initiatives. We look forward to assisting you in creating positive outcomes for some of our more disadvantaged citizens as soon as possible. Thanks for everything you’ve done and will do for the good of Louisiana.”
